Im Kanal- und Leitungsbau findet eine stetige Weiterentwicklung von grabenlosen Verfahren wie Mikrotunnelbau, Rohrvortrieb und Horizontalspülbohrverfahren (Horizontal Directional Drilling, HDD) statt. Vorteile sind der geringe Eingriff an der Geländeoberfläche sowie die Möglichkeit, Gewässer, Fahrbahnen oder Schutzgebiete zu unterfahren. Die Anwendung erfordert jedoch fundierte Kenntnisse zu Grenzen und Möglichkeiten der Verfahren.
