Die internationalen Abwicklungstransaktionen verzeichneten einen Anstieg von 4 Prozent. Ihre Anzahl lag bei 2,55 Mio. (gegenüber 2,44 Mio. im Juli 2008).
Die internationalen außerbörslichen Bondtransaktionen konnten im Juli 2009 einen Anstieg von 22 Prozent verzeichnen (von 1,22 Mio. auf 1,51 Mio.). Bei den internationalen Abwicklungstransaktionen handelte es sich zu 78 Prozent um außerbörsliche Transaktionen, 22 Prozent waren Börsentransaktionen.
Die Zahl der Abwicklungstransaktionen auf dem deutschen Inlandsmarkt lag bei 5,98 Mio. - ein Rückgang von 16 Prozent gegenüber Juli 2008 (7,11 Mio.).
Von diesen inländischen Transaktionen stammten 66 Prozent aus dem börslichen und 34 Prozent aus dem außerbörslichen Handel.
Für den Geschäftsbereich Global Securities Financing (GSF) beliefen sich die durchschnittlichen monatlichen Außenstände für Juli 2009 auf 472,1 Mrd. €.
Insgesamt wurde im Servicegeschäft, das die Bereiche Triparty Repo, Wertpapierleihe und Collateral Management umfasst, ein Anstieg von 22 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat (387,7 Mrd. €) verzeichnet.
Im Bereich Investment Fund Services wurden 317.897 Transaktionen bearbeitet.
Dies entspricht einem Rückgang von 24 Prozent gegenüber Juli 2008 (418.176).
Der Rückgang der Investmentfonds-Transaktionen im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat ist hauptsächlich auf den Rückgang der europäischen Investmentfonds-Transaktionen zurückzuführen.
