An der Eurex verzeichnete das Segment Aktienindexderivate einen Umsatz von 65,0 Mio. Kontrakten, verglichen mit 71,1 Mio. im Juni 2009 und 89,3 Mio. im Juli 2008. Im Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50® Index Future wurden 23,5 Mio. Kontrakte umgesetzt, in der Option waren es 27,1 Mio. Kontrakte. Die DAX®-Option erzielte ihr bestes Monatsergebnis in diesem Jahr mit 9,8 Mio. Kontrakten. Die vor einem Jahr eingeführten Dividendenfutures auf den Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 legten weiter zu auf knapp 252.000 Kontrakte.
Das Segment Aktienderivate (Aktienoptionen und Single Stock Futures)erreichte einen Umsatz von 24,7 Mio. Kontrakten (Juni 2009: 30,2 Mio., Juli 2008:46,4 Mio.). Davon entfielen 21,7 Mio. Kontrakte auf Aktienoptionen und 3,0 Mio.auf Single Stock Futures.
Im Bereich Zins-Derivate wurden 34,0 Mio. Kontrakte umgesetzt verglichen mit 45,0 Mio. im Juni 2009 und 52,8 Mio. im Juli 2008. Etwa 14,0 Mio. Kontrakte wurden im Euro-Bund-Future gehandelt, der Euro-Schatz-Future erreichte 8,7 Mio. Kontrakte und der Euro-Bobl-Future rund 7,3 Mio. Kontrakte.
Eurex Repo, die den CHF- und den EUR-Repo-Markt betreibt, ist im Juli 2009 im Vergleich mit dem Vorjahreszeitraum erneut gewachsen: Alle ausstehenden Volumina stiegen um zwölf Prozent und erreichten den Wert von durchschnittlich 154,6 Mrd. Euro (Juli 2008: 138,1 Mrd. Euro). Wachstumstreiber war das besicherte Geldmarktsegment GC Pooling mit einem Plus von 86 Prozent im Jahresvergleich, das durchschnittlich ausstehende Volumen lag bei 76,1 Mrd.Euro (Juli 2008: 40,9 Mrd. Euro). Der EUR Repo Markt legte insgesamt um 46 Prozent zu auf 106,3 Mrd. Euro.
Auf der elektronischen Handelsplattform Eurex Bonds, die das Angebot von Eurex im Bereich Fixed Income komplettiert, wurde im Juli ein Volumen von 8,1 Mrd.Euro (Einfachzählung) verbucht nach 12,1 Mrd. Euro im Juni 2009 und 10,7 Mrd.Euro im Juli 2008.
