Auf der IHM - Internationale Handwerksmesse - informieren sich Fach- und Privatbesucher bei namhaften Firmen und Herstellern unter anderem über aktuelle Trends und modernste Technik in Sachen Handwerk, Einrichtung, Energie, Technik sowie Haus und Garten. Auf der Internationalen Handwerksmesse wird die Vielfalt und Leistungsfähigkeit des Handwerks von A bis Z gezeigt: vom Anlagenmechaniker über Bäcker, Kunsthandwerker, Kfz-Mechaniker, Metzger bis hin zum Zimmerer. Nicht zuletzt ist diese Messe die zentrale Plattform für den Dialog zwischen Politik und Handwerk. Alljährlich finden hier neben dem Spitzengespräch der Deutschen Wirtschaft auch Treffen, Kongresse und Tagungen der verschiedenen Handwerksorganisationen statt. Die Internationale Handwerksmesse ist das jährliche Forum zum Austausch des Handwerks mit politischen Entscheidungsträgern aller Ebenen.
