ZUWA-Zumpe offers a new filter system for its solar filling station Solarcheck Mobilcenter. The filter system is designed to be used when flushing heavily soiled solar loops.
Solarcheck Mobilcenter is a mobile pump unit to flush and fill solar collectors quickly and bubble-free with heat transfer medium. The tool includes a pump with delivery and return hose, a sturdy trolley and a transport tank for the medium.
The heart of the solar filling station is a self-priming pump with a capacity of 30 L/min (optional 60 L/min) maximum. Thus makes for a quick filling of the system. A high flow rate combined with adequate pressure is also important to eliminate air enclosures from the solar loop.
The strainer with vision panel at the pump inlet filters out solder and weld residues. This sieve sometimes is overcharged when the liquid is very soiled. That is why ZUWA now provides additional filters to reduce the load of the strainer.
The new disposable and economic filter bags are made of polypropylene, a nonwoven fabric.
Their shape is adapted to the tank. They can be tied to the tank opening and fixed by the tank's screw cap. There are two filter types available with different permeability that should be applicated one after the other.
The prefilter has a more rapid throughput (70 µm) and is for coarse-grained particles. The second filter (40 µm) collects the fine-grained particles in a second flushing. Filters are easy to change and to dispose of.
