Economic expectations for Switzerland have improved slightly by 0.9 points in July 2012. The ZEW-CS-Indicator now stands at minus 42.5 points. The share of analysts expecting the economic development in Switzerland to stay unchanged over the next six months has grown by 5.9 percentage points to 53.7 per cent. After the steep fall in the past month, the economic expectations seem to have stabilized at a low level in July. The ZEW-CS Indicator is calculated monthly by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in cooperation with Credit Suisse (CS).
