New release version of Y.FGUI 3.5 offers even more options

(PresseBox) (Hamburg, )
YXLON International launches the new release version of Y.FGUI 3.5 that makes X-ray inspection even easier, faster and more convenient for operators. Y.FGUI (YXLON FeinFocus Graphical User Interface) is the proven system control software with easy-to-use 1-click operation for the real-time imaging system used in the FeinFocus microfocus X-ray systems Y.Cougar and Y.Cheetah. A simple, well-structured user interface makes it possible to quickly capture brilliant, high-resolution radioscopic images in the shortest time, even for an unexperienced operator.

Based on the ASTM E2597 standard, Y.FGUI 3.5 now provides a Quality Toolkit for automatic calculation of spatial resolution and the signal-to-noise ratio in order to evaluate system qualification (Fig. 1). As regards the new BGA inspection, reduced presettings assure improved user guidance. Automatic grid search (Fig. 2) and algorithm optimization supply precision in analyzing the soldered balls.

Equipped with the 64-bit version of Windows 7, Y.FGUI 3.5 improves its performance capability, e.g. for an increased number of projections using QuickScan®. This leads to an even faster computed tomograph (Fig. 3) and considerably reduces the inspection times involved.

The new release version of Y.FGUI 3.5 is a component part of every new Y.Cheetah and Y.Cougar microfocus X-ray system from YXLON and can also be acquired as an upgrade for existing systems from these series.
