Würth Elektronik stellt Cat6-geeignete WR-MJ Modular Jack Connectors vor

Würth Elektronik hat seine Produktfamilie WR-MJ Modular Jack um RJ45-Buchsen mit 8P8C-Layout erweitert, die für Cat6-Datenleitungen geeignet sind. Die Modularbuchsen sind in verschiedenen Varianten erhältlich: in horizontaler, vertikaler und um 47,5° gekippter Orientierung, mit und ohne Schirmung sowie teilweise mit EMI-Kontaktfingern. Die Bauteile sind layoutkompatibel mit den entsprechenden Cat5-Produkten.

Die neuen WR-MJ-Modularbuchsen von Würth Elektronik können für LAN-Verkabelungen mit Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten bis zu 10 000 Mb/s (gemäß IEEE 802.3) genutzt werden. Als Kontaktmaterial kommt eine selektiv vergoldete Kupferlegierung zum Einsatz. Die Isolation erfüllt die Brennbarkeitsklasse UL94 V-0. Der Betriebstemperaturbereich der Buchsen reicht von -40 bis +85 °C. Die neuen Cat6-geeigneten Produkte sind im Einzelnen:
