The load capacity increases in case of downward movements of the heat-conducting pipe and decreases in case of upward movements. Vertical movements up to 60 mm can thus be compensated without a problem. For pipe systems and component connections that can stand changes or a difference in the load capacities between the mounting and operating state, Hydra spring hang-ers are an affordable variant in comparison with constant hangers.
The reliable support behavior is considerably dependent on the properties of the high-quality springs used. Due to the special surface treatment and material coating, Hydra spring hangers are permanently able to guarantee a linearly constant force-distance characteristic curve, even over long operating times.
For installation, cylindrical screw springs according to DIN 2095 and DIN 2096, which can be cold-coiled or hot coiled according to wire diameter.
In each case, they are surface-treated using the shot-peening method and then subjected to a preparatory phosphatisation. According to the requirements for use, various coatings can be selected. From standard painting using impact-resistant, highly elastic alkyd resin paint to plas-tic or Teroson coatings for outdoor use. The 100% crack detection test on all springs guaran-tees a complete freedom from cracks.

Use special thermal treatments, this loss of inherent tension can be considerably reduced in the case of Hydra spring hangers in comparison with the usual screw springs.

According to the conditions of use, a wide spectrum is available for corrosion protection, from galvanisation and hot dip galvanisation or plastic coating to painting. Since the final assembly takes place solely through form closure, the surface production cannot be destroyed by welding or other mechanical processing.

All spring hanger designs can be mounted to all kinds of support structures easily and safely without using special tools. The label attached to the type plate guarantees the correct adjust-ment of the heat and cold position of the spring hanger. Here, colour markings on the distance scale provide precise information. The patented, infinitely adjustable blocking holds the spring retaining cup in position and can be loosened only if the means of load suspension is correct. The means of load suspection can be adjusted simply by turning the turnbuckle. In the process, the lug on the spring retaining cup acts as an anti-torsion device.
Subsequent reblocking is possible in any position. For this purpose, the blocking bar with mov-able lamellae can be stored on the housing in an unlosable manner.
