(PresseBox) (Igersheim, )
The WITTENSTEIN group has grown worldwide: The Swiss subsidiary of drive technology specialist WITTENSTEIN AG opened a new production site in Gruesch (Graubuenden) at the end of October 2010. The WITTENSTEIN group has invested roughly 16 million dollars in the 10,000 ft² production arena.

The company had been in Gruesch as early as 2000. Now the beginning of a new development phase has been marked. In Gruesch, not only sensor technology will be developed and distributed together with innovative drive solutions; moreover, high quality tooth components will be manufactured. The new manufacturing machines for the production of racks are now operating with production and support of sensor technology and high-quality toothing components started. Now WITTENSTEIN AG has roughly 3500 ft² office space and 6500 ft² logistics and production space. On the premises, there is space for two more construction areas of the same size.

The specialist for mechatronic drive technology with headquarters in Igersheim-Harthausen continues the strategy of a globally operating company. There are now more than 40 WITTENSTEIN locations and trade partners worldwide.
