Packaging manufacturer Wetropa Packaging announces cooperation with Finnish packaging manufacturer Eltete TPM

(PresseBox) (Frankfurt/Mörfelden-Walldorf, )
Wetropa Packaging Group, a leading manufacturer of customized industrial and transport packaging, and Eltete TPM, headquartered in Finland, have agreed to work together as partners in the PaperCore® segment. The aim of the cooperation is to bundle the synergies of both companies for better market coverage for sustainable packaging solutions made of paper.

Eltete Group is a global carton converter and one of the leading manufacturers of environmentally friendly and sustainable 3R transport packaging solutions. The location advantages of the Wetropa Group, with production facilities in Frankfurt, Munich and Kassel, complement Eltete's production focuses in Finland and Poland.

If you look at the material and processing possibilities of both companies in the cardboard sector, you can see that a clever bundling of competencies makes sense and is forward-looking. While the Wetropa Group specializes in special packaging solutions and interiors for containers, Eltete has made a name for itself by producing high quality heavy- duty CargoBoxes, PallRuns® and L-profiles with the goal to reduce costs, emissions and used material and replace unsustainable packaging with easily recyclable solutions. "This combination of over 50 years of experience from both companies in the packaging sector gives us the opportunity to offer customers comprehensive and sustainable packaging solutions in the honeycomb carton board segment," summarizes Dirk Breitkreuz, who initiated this collaboration as CEO of the Wetropa Group.

Breitkreuz developed the cooperation together with CEO Nina Lökfors of Eltete. Lökfors "We value the experience that Wetropa Packaging has gained in the development and production of foam packaging. This can be transferred perfectly to the development of sustainable carton based packaging."
