Das war eine tolle Party zu einem tollen Anlass: In diesem Punkt waren sich nach der 100%-Party „Ökostrom trifft Kabarett“ am Samstag alle einig. Die Paderborner Paderhalle war bei dem kurzweiligen Kabarettabend bis fast auf den letzten Platz gefüllt – die Stimmung entsprechend gut. Davon ließ sich auch Ehrengast Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer anstecken – der ehemalige Bundesminister plauderte beim Bierchen auf der Bühne gut gelaunt drauflos, ließ aber auch kritische Worte nicht vermissen. So forderte er in Sachen Hambacher Forst ein Moratorium, also in diesem Fall ein Aussetzen der Waldrodungen, bis die Kohlekommission einen Termin für den Ausstieg aus der Kohleförderung beschlossen habe. Viele im Publikum waren begeistert und überrascht vom Witz und der Spontanität des mittlerweile 80-Jährigen. Eine herausragende Leistung boten auch die Kabarettisten Matthias Brodowy, Ingo Börchers, Thomas Philipzen und Erwin Grosche, so dass sich das Publikum am Ende zurecht mit stehenden Ovationen bei allen bedankte. Im Foyer der Paderborner Paderhalle sorgte im Anschluss die Live-Band „deSOULart“ für angemessene Partystimmung. Begonnen hatte die 100%-Party mit einem VIP-Empfang, zu dem der Regionalverband OWL im Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien NRW geladen hatte. LEE-Regionalvorstand Kerstin Haarmann begrüßte rund 130 Gäste aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft. Sie zeichnete unter anderem die Geschichte der Erneuerbaren Energien im Kreis Paderborn nach und erläuterte, wie es zur aktuellen Quote von 112 Prozent Ökostrom kam. „Aber damit ist die Arbeit noch nicht getan, in den Bereichen Verkehr und Wärme bleibt noch viel Arbeit. Bisher ist nur ein Etappenziel erreicht, denn der Anteil der Erneuerbaren Energien am Gesamtenergieverbrauch liegt nur bei 26,7 Prozent“. Dazu passte auch der Appell von LEE-Gründungsmitglied Johannes Lackmann - der hatte schon zu Beginn des Abends das Publikum aufgefordert, sich aktiv in die Politik einzumischen, um die Energiewende weiter voranzutreiben.
