Weller, the market leader in hand soldering has widened its range to include an electronically controlled electrically driven screwdriver. The screwdriver is driven from a separate power unit, available with a digital or alternatively an analogue display. It is ESD safe and maintenance free.
The WBTS screwdriver has an ergonomic design, is easy to use and quiet in operation to promote an operator friendly environment.
The tool has a torque range variable between 0.05 - 3.5 Nm and the control system ensures that power is turned off when the set torque level is reached.
The analogue controlled system is aimed at simple assembly processes, providing high / low torque setting, speed control and soft start facility. For more complex tasks, the digital station additionally provides screw profiles to be set. This station can also be password protected to lock in its operating parameters.
Accessories include a torque test meter, 90 deg. angle head, balancer and a wide range of bits.
