Weidmüller testing instruments: test a wide range of system functions with new voltage testers

Sophisticated, standard-compliant testing instruments help users with their electrical installations

(PresseBox) (Detmold, )
All industrial applications require seamless processes and the safe operation of electrical systems and devices. In order to guarantee this, all relevant functions must be carefully checked during both installation and service. The following professional testing instruments form part of the basic equipment of any electrical engineer. The new testing instruments from Weidmüller combine a range of established functions with additional features. They support their users quickly and reliably when it comes to troubleshooting, safety and function testing. Each new testing instrument complies with all current requirements, including VDE regulations, with respect to functionality and compliance. The new testing instruments also feature quality workmanship and are simple and intuitive to use.

The new multifunctional VT CTL continuity tester offers optical and acoustic signals for continuity. Users can use them to quickly and easily detect wiring errors and cable and network breaks. The integrated LED flashlight makes the VT CTL a handy companion for all electrical engineers. All VT CTL continuity testers are designed to be external voltage proof.

The new voltage testers also offer impressive performance in a handy format and have a wide range of applications even outside of industry. So the two-pole VT voltage tester has an LED display for voltage and polarity. It works without batteries and is housed in a slimline, impact resistant enclosure. VT voltage testers are designed for one-handed use for sockets. The new VT CTB is also a two-pole voltage tester and is ideally suited to cars, lorries and electric bikes.

Non-contact voltage and magnetic field testers are quick and simple to apply, as stripping the conductor is no longer required. They are designed for hard-to-reach places. The two new VT CL and VT LCL non-contact voltage testers comply with measurement circuit and overvoltage category CAT IV with voltage level of 1000 V. Both tester models have an optical and acoustic voltage display. They have a waterproof, robust enclosure and work with AAA 1.5 V batteries. The VT LCL voltage tester also has an integrated flashlight and battery monitoring (temperature, voltage and charge level). Users can choose between two voltage levels, i.e. sensitivity ranges. The VT M non-contact magnetic field tester is also new to the range and indicates a magnetic field by means of a red LED. VT M magnetic field testers also come with an integrated flashlight, a robust waterproof enclosure and battery monitoring.

Our comprehensive range of two-pole voltage testers includes testers which allow testing of not only voltage and continuity but also rotating field, frequency and many other values. Users can always rely on Weidmüller for practical, clever testing instrument solutions.
