Detmold, (PresseBox) - Weidmüller has developed its new DMS Pro cordless screwdriver especially for off-mains, precise-torque tightening of screw connections on electrical equipment, such as modular terminal blocks, contactors, relay modules, motor protection switches, circuit breakers, lamps, buttons or measurement equipment. The cordless screwdriver is suitable for one-handed operation and may be used effectively for workshop assembly or control cabinet installation, as well as for small-scale and series production, and on construction sites.

The cordless torque screwdriver with clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation and 3.6 V rated voltage has two speed settings: 200 rpm (low) and 600 rpm (high). Torque can be preselected in 21 steps (Low 1-10, High 11-21), ranging from 0.36 Nm on step 1 to 2.83 Nm on step 21, with a maximum tightening Torque can be preselected in 21 steps (low 1-10, high 11-21), ranging from 0.36 Nm on step 1 to 2.83 Nm on step 21, with a maximum clutch torque of 3 Nm. A window scale integrated in the handle allows the torque value to be read easily.

Users can easily switch the DMS Pro from straight-line to pistol configuration or from battery to manual operation.
