We4IT goes Domino 9: Der Bremer Software-Anbieter gibt alle Produkte für IBM Notes/Domino 9 Social Edition frei. Unternehmen, die von den Vorzügen der neuen Social Business Umgebung profitieren wollen, können neben dem Application Framework Aveedo und der mobilen Anwendung docLinkr jetzt auch den We4IT GroupCalendar einsetzen. "Für den Gruppenkalendar mussten wir noch einen Bug-Release von IBM abwarten", erklärt We4IT-Geschäftsführer Stefan Sucker. "Dies ist mit dem Interim Fix 2 und 3 nun geschehen."

Zum Hintergrund: In der Domino 9 Version von IBM befindet sich ein Semaphore Bug. Für den Einsatz des GroupCalendar auf IBM Domino 9 in der ServerTask-Version müssen Anwender daher den Interim Fix 2 oder 3 installieren. Andernfalls stürzt der Domino Server nach einiger Zeit ab. Im FP1, das Ende des Jahres erscheinen wird, soll das Interim Fix laut IBM dann enthalten sein.
