Recognising leadership, innovation and excellence in wireless broadband
18th December 2006 - London: The Wireless Broadband Innovation Awards 2007 are now open for entry. Established as the leading awards showcase for the world's wireless broadband industry, the 3rd Annual Awards will culminate in a gala dinner and presentation at the Wireless Event in London, on 23 May 2007.
"Judged by an independent panel of world leading experts and presented at the wireless broadband world's biggest annual event, the WBI Awards provide a unique stage on which we recognize and reward the wealth of talent, ingenuity and creativity from all corners of our global wireless broadband eco-system," said Michael Gebert, Organizer of the WBI Awards.
The awards are now open for on-line entry at www.wbiawards.com, the closing deadline is 21 March 2007.
The WBI Awards Categories for 2007 are:
- Best WiFi Product or Service
- Best Wireless Broadband Mobility Solution
- Best Wireless Broadband Security Innovation
- Best WIMAX Product or Service
- Best VoIP Product or Service
All nominations for the Achievement Category have been finalized. The judges selected the Finalists and Nominations from more than 40 prefinalists per category.

The culmination of the WBI Awards 2007 will be a spectacular gala dinner in London on Wednesday 23th May 2007. Tickets to this, the wireless broadband industry’s ’Oscar night’ are strictly limited - to join more than 200 industry leaders and senior executives at the ceremony, you must book your tickets early.
Winners of all Award categories will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner, which follows on from The Wireless Event, the world’s biggest wireless broadband show.
