Ongoing restructuring of distributional processes and efficiency-increasing factory and layout planning in the installation department: after successful joint projects in the last few months, Wassermann AG has again acquired meurer Packaging Systems GmbH & Co. KG as a customer. The coming twelve months will see an extensive restructuring of the company's operational structures with the introduction of wayRTS (Real Time Simulation) and wayMES (Enterprise Frontend). The change-management-project includes the integration of development and construction into synchronised planning and scheduling.
Wassermann's APS solution wayRTS will replace the planning software FELIOS and support meurer in the creation of optimized production plans. Business potential in the supply chain is improved while manufacturing cost and capital tied up in manufacturing processes is reduced. wayMES will serve as an easily manageable interface to ensure an effective communication between the supply chain planning department and the providers.
