The general meeting of VNG - Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG) yesterday appointed Dr. Ties Tiessen, member of the Board of Executive Directors of Wintershall Holding AG, to the Supervisory Board of VNG with immediate effect.
Dr. Tiessen succeeds Dr. Karsten Heuchert, who resigned from his post on the VNG Supervisory Board following yesterday's Supervisory Board meeting. Dr. Heuchert will become a member of the Executive Board of VNG and the company's new Chairman on September 1, 2010.
