At today's Extraordinary General Meeting, the shareholders of VNG - Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG) approved by majority the transfer of the registered shares in VNG previously held by EEG-Erdgas Transport GmbH, Berlin, to GAZPROM Germania GmbH, Berlin. GAZPROM Germania will therefore in future hold 10.52 percent of the shares in VNG. The transaction is still subject to approval from the Bundeskartellamt (Federal Cartel Office).
