To enable users of mobile Apple devices to benefit from convenient digital shade communication from the practice to the laboratory using VITA Easyshade V, the VITA mobileAssist iOS app can now be downloaded for free in Apple's App Store.

Following digital chairside determination of the tooth shade with VITA Easyshade V, the shade information can now also be easily transmitted via Bluetooth to mobile Apple devices at the push of a button. The results of tooth shade measurement are automatically displayed on the patient image, which either can be added directly through the app, or imported from an external source. Using the app, the measurement result can be presented on the display in the standard shade system VITA classical A1-D4, or in VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER, as well as for VITABLOCS and bleached shades.
