Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today released a compact new 4-line ESD-protection array designed to provide a low capacitance with a high surge current for the protection of dual high-speed USB ports, or up to four other high-frequency signal lines, against transient voltage signals.

The VBUS054CV-HS3 is packaged in the leadless LLP75, with a 1.6-mm by 1.6-mm footprint and an ultra-low profile of 0.75mm to minimize the board space required for active ESD protection in a wide range of portable electronics, including portable and handheld computing, communications, industrial, and medical systems.
