Neue 3D-Navigationsfunktionen und -Tools für effiziente Kardio-Analyse sind direkt in PACS-Workflow integriert

Mercury Computer Systems stellt auf dem European Congress of Radiology (ECR) vom 9. bis zum 13. März in Wien (Expo C, Standnummer 343) seine gesamte Visage-Produktfamilie vor, die neben leistungsfähigem, klinischem Bildmanagement und hochqualitativer Bildbetrachtung zudem klinische Applikationen wie Kardio-CT umfasst.

Als ein Highlight zeigt Mercury eine Vorabversion von Visage CS Thin Client/Server mit komplett integriertem 3D PACS-Workflow und erweiterter Funktionalität. Die neue Kardioanalyse-Option von Visage CS erlaubt die quantitative und visuelle Analyse der Kardiodynamik mit Hilfe zeitaufgelöster Mehrschicht-CT-Daten sowie die Untersuchung von Koronargefäßen. Sowohl Kardiologen als auch Radiologen können 3D-Befundungs- und Navigationstools effizient nutzen, beispielsweise zur Erkennung und Quantifizierung von Verengungen der Koronararterien sowie zur automatischen Berechnung von Volumetrie und Beweglichkeit des linken Ventrikels.

Visage PACS, Mercurys web-basiertes, skalierbares Bildmanagementsystem, bietet neue Features für eine flexible Anordnung mehrerer Viewer, leistungsfähige Optionen für Bildvergleiche sowie „Hanging Protocols“, die einen verbesserten Workflow in der Radiologie ermöglichen. Visage PACS und Visage CS sind vollständig integriert, um im klinischen Alltag einen optimalen Daten- und Arbeitsfluss zu gewährleisten.

In der Bildrekonstruktion zeigt Mercury eine gegenüber herkömmlichen Mikroprozessoren 100-fach beschleunigte CT-Bildrekonstruktion auf Mercurys Cell Accelerator Board (CAB), das auf der Cell Broadband Engine (BE)-Technologie basiert. Das CAB bietet eine Performance von 180 GFLOPS und eine Memory-Bandbreite von 25 GB/s in einer einzigen Karte im ATX-Formfaktor, die über den schnellen PCI-Express-Bus in medizinische OEM-Applikationen integriert werden kann. In Kooperation mit dem Institut für Medizinische Physik (IMP) der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg entwickelt und implementiert Mercury Lösungen, die eine erheblich beschleunigte 2D- und 3D-Bildrekonstruktion bei gleichzeitig verbesserter Bildqualität auf der Cell BE-Plattform ermöglichen.
