Die Energiewende in Korea kommt voran. SOLIDpower und KEPCO, die Korea Electric Power Corporation, haben Anfang November letzten Jahres ein Kooperationsabkommen unterzeichnet, das hauptsächlich die Kommerzialisierung von brennstoffzellenbasierten Mikro-Netzen und Smart Grids vorsieht. An KEPCO ist der koreanische Staat zur Hälfte beteiligt. Das Unternehmen hat einen Marktanteil an der nationalen Stromversorgung von 93 Prozent. Die Zusammenarbeit umfasst auch die Entwicklung und Fertigung neuer SOFC-Systeme in Korea.
