Vestas Deutschland among Top German Employers for 2011

Wind Energy Company receives award from CRF Institute

Hamburg, (PresseBox) - Vestas Deutschland GmbH has been awarded the titles "Top German Employer 2011" and "Top Employer Engineers 2011" for its state-of-the-art human resources management. The awards were handed out last week by international research company CRF Institute. Vestas convinced the CRF Institute's jury particularly in the categories "career opportunities" and "primary benefits".

"To once again be awarded, Top Employer is of high relevance to us, especially in times of skills shortage. The awareness level of Vestas is continuously rising amongst students and graduates," says Marie-Louise Bornemann, Vice President People & Culture for Vestas Central Europe. "Not least, this is due to our employees, who contributed to our success by supporting and promoting a positive work atmosphere. "

The studies are based on a comprehensive questionnaire, asking about criteria such as career opportunities, primary and secondary benefits, work-life-balance, training and development and corporate culture. For the award "Top Employer Engineers 2011" the companies were also awarded for their innovation management. All these facts and figures have been validated and completed with employee portraits by a team of experienced business and economic journalists. Especially for young talent and young professionals, the awards of Top German Employer and Top Employer Engineers - which can only be held by certified companies - serve as a neutral, independent benchmark for career planning.

"We congratulate Vestas Deutschland GmbH for their success. On a high level, Vestas demonstrated excellent skills as an employer and a professional personnel strategy. And we are happy to underline this with the awards of Top German Employer 2011 and Top Employer Engineers 2011 "says Thorsten Jacoby, International Publishing Manager of the CRF Institute.
