Überprüfung der elektrostatischen Verträglichkeit von RFID-Transpondern

In vielen Bereichen werden RFID-Transponder zur Automatisierung von Prozessen eingesetzt. Beispielsweise werden beim Einsatz von Kunststofffolien für die Ladeeinheitensicherung hohe statische Aufladungen erzeugt, die zur Zerstörung der häufig verwendeten Transponder-Etiketten führen kann. In der Absorberkammer im LogIDLab des Instituts für Distributions- und Handelslogistik (IDH) des VVL e. V. in Dortmund werden Untersuchungen zur ESD-Beständigkeit von Transpondern durchgeführt. Mit einem Diagnose-Prüfgerät können Prüfspannungen bis 20000 Volt erzeugt und mit einem Lesegerät die Reichweite des Transponders überprüft werden. Für die in Wickelstretchprozessen auftretenden elektrostatischen Aufladungen sind für die getesteten Transponder keine Einschränkungen der Funktionalität festgestellt worden.
