With the help of the clearly arranged user guide, both calculations and explanatory text can be created in a single program. Mathematical formulae are input directly into the document using natural notation. Algorithms can be created quickly and easily without programming expertise. Formulae are presented in precise mathematical form. This reflects the way engineers work and is simpler to use and maintain than spreadsheet calculations.
The 2014 version of VCmaster is being released in October. It includes new freely configurable formula symbols (see figure). VCmaster can thus use variables not found in any Windows symbol set in both text and calculations. Structural analyses produced with VCmaster, therefore, resemble the standards or the literature even more closely. The BauText versions of VCmaster contain hundreds of ready-prepared templates for different structural analysis calculations in accordance with DIN EN. These provide the engineer with effective support in converting to the new Eurocode standards.
