The hearing aid battery manufacturer VARTA Microbattery presents at this year's AudiologyNOW!®-Conference in Boston, Massachusetts (USA), March 28-31, 2012; the latest generation of power one brand mercury-free hearing aid batteries. More than 7,500 international visitors are expected to attend the world's largest exhibition for the hearing aid industry.

Under the slogan "power one - the hearing aid energy", the full assortment of hearing aid batteries will be presented. This latest generation of mercury-free hearing aid batteries is manufactured in the newest and world's largest hearing aid battery factory located in Ellwangen (Germany). VARTA Microbattery will produce the new power one hearing aid batteries within the factory's high-level production environment. Besides using first-class processed raw materials, power one hearing aid batteries are produced with a unique ESP coating. A further production achievement is the certification of VARTA Microbattery's energy management system to the ISO 50001standard. This ISO standard focuses and evaluates the energy consumption and energy policy of a company during the production process.

In addition to its new environmental compatible hearing aid batteries, VARTA Microbattery will also show the classic power one hearing aid assortment, power one IMPLANT plus and power one ACCU plus cells with chargers.
