After a short introduction by Joachin Hoessl – Manager, the Head Coach (Brian Caler) reviewed the campaign in 2012 - which targets have been reached, which have not and what areas require action. The Head Coach praised the attendance levels at training sessions, “To have 59 players in the training camps and to have up to 42 players in training during the campaign is a great base to work with”, said Brian Caler. However, there is still room for improvement - in discipline and also in speed during training – these areas need to be focused upon during the next campaign.
Nevertheless, the Allgäu Comets can claim the championship in the so-called GFL 2 South to their name. More than 13,000 fans watched the Comets at the ‘Iller Stadium’ in Kempten during their home games, without relegation. Uwe Niekrawietz, Managing Director at UWT GmbH, was hugely impressed with this fact. He congratulated the team and praised their efforts and was delighted to see so many young people attending the meeting at the UWT conference rooms. Afterwards, the course was set for the 2013 campaign, the winter training schedule and the pre-campaign starting in March were presented.
Best wishes to the footballers for 2013 from all at UWT Level Control GmbH!
