Kraft Foods reduziert Leerfahrten mit Oracle Transportation Management

Kraft Foods Global, Inc. hat im vergangenen Jahr in den USA das Projekt MOST (Management of Optimized Sustainable Transportation) gestartet. Dieses wurde entwickelt, um Leerfahrten der Kraft Flotte und von 50 beauftragten Transportunternehmen zu reduzieren.

Nach einem Jahr ist das Projekt MOST ein wesentliches Element der Nachhaltigkeitsbestrebungen von Kraft im Bereich Transport. Mit MOST werden Muster der Lasterbewegungen zwischen den Kraft Verteilerzentren erkannt. Daraus berechnet das Programm verschiedene Routenoptionen für einzelne Fahrer und Laster, um Leerfahrten vermeiden.

Kraft hat eng mit Oracle zusammengearbeitet, um diese innovativen Funktionen zu entwickeln. Dank der neuen Software ist Kraft in der Lage,
