Management consultancy UNITY publishes 5th issue of the series OPPORTUNITY "Systems Engineering - The next Level of Product Development". It describes how companies can successfully implement System Engineering.

Increasing interaction and networking have a huge impact on product and service development. The need of a comprehensive and multidisciplinary system analysis is growing steadily. "It is no question, that Systems Engineering offers many Best Practices to master the new level of complexity. The actual challenge is to individually adapt Systems Engineering to customer-specific challenges. How it works we describe in our new OPPORTUNITY," explains Dr.-Ing. Daniel Steffen, Senior Manager at UNITY.

The OPPORTUNITY observes the topic "Systems Engineering" from a company's perspective. Thereby, we consider all relevant areas: from the definition of an individual Systems Engineering strategy and the design of competencies, processes and organization, to the enabling of specific development projects.

"We briefly and vividly summarized our Systems Engineering expertise. It was important for us prepare the topic in a suitable way," explains Dr.-Ing. Frank Thielemann, UNITY Executive Board Member.
