In 2013 UNIORG's SAP specialists first created a custom-made template for VEKA with standardised pre-sales processes, initially deployed in Germany. On the basis of this template, the successive roll-out of these standardised processes is taking place throughout the numerous international subsidiaries.
Improvements for field work
What is special about this solution is that individual processes and thus important information can be also remotely displayed. "Thanks to the new CRM and the mobile application, our field staff in particular, are provided with tools to create transparency and efficiency", says VEKA CIO Thomas Sauerland. "The mobile app provides a tablet solution for better preparation, implementation and documentation of visits and apart from an overview of activities, also delivers user-specific BW reports with the most relevant customer indicators. The new CRM also yields decisive benefits for our marketing professionals, who are able to categorise business partners in a more precise way and better approach partners and customers according to specific target groups when carrying out their campaigns. Through integration in Lotus Notes Groupware, the convenience enjoyed in the past using Lotus Notes is retained, and even increased."
The SAP CRM 7.0 replaces all local and national subsystems - the pre-sales processes are standardised. UNIORG can reproduce all existing processes in SAP standard without individual, cost-intensive modifications and problem-free integration with SAP ERP and SAP BW is also possible.
