“Our 2019 Mobile Review Brazil shows interesting results. What is quite remarkable is the huge difference between rural and metropolitan areas with regards to mobile network quality and performance. It is by far more distinct than in most other countries in the world. Especially in rural areas, we see a clear opportunity for improvements for all Brazilian operators”, says Hakan Ekmen, CEO of P3 communications.
Comparing the city results of Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro with those achieved in in other metropolitan areas as Berlin, Cape Town, Jakarta, London, Singapore and Sidney shows that the Brazilian operators score in the middle field – in global comparison.
