German-based company UMAREX attends the trade fair IWA OUTDOOR Classics

(PresseBox) (Arnsberg, )
With more than 150 new items and some new product lines the German-based company UMAREX attends the trade fair IWA OUTDOOR Classics taking place from 6 to 9 of March at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg in Germany.

The flashlight series WALTHER PRO LIGHT was designed in Germany with the quality-conscious customers in mind, who seek high performance with simple but comfortable operation. The sophisticated reflector / lens system always provides the perfect light balance in three levels of 100, 40, or 10 percent. The flashlights can be easily focused with the holding hand. The electronics offer a direct access to the "Tactical Defense Strobe" at any time, an ultra-bright flickering mode for contactless defense against aggressors. The product line ranges from the NANO lights (weighing less than 5 (!) grams) to the unique Pocket Lights and finally to the larger XL-flashlights with up to seven reflector lenses and impressive 2200 lumens light output. Almost all WALTHER PRO lights are equipped with the "Multi Battery System" allowing you to use several choices of either rechargeable or disposable batteries.

Recreational shooters will enjoy the new spring-piston air rifles UMAREX presents under the WALTHER brand: high-quality mechanics featuring "Made in Germany"-style. Regardless of carbon dioxide or compressed air, these models are activated by muscle power, the stocks are either made of sturdy and weather-proof synthetic (WALTHER CENTURY GT), of traditional beech (WALTHER LGV MASTER PRO) or of select walnut with beautiful grain (ROYALE versions).

Western fans have been waiting for decades: Officially licensed by the US manufacturer, the legendary Colt "Peacemaker" revolver now as over-the-counter CO2 airgun. The metal revolver with the official name Colt SAA 1873 is true to the original function and available in three classic designs - antique, blue and nickel. Also in Wild West style comes the special version of John Wayne's Winchester 1892, used in the film classic "Stagecoach: The UMAREX/WALTHER "Duke" is an eight-shot Lever Action CO2 rifle in .177 with looped loading lever and weathered wooden stock.

These are only some appetizers from the approximately 150 product novelties Umarex shows at the IWA Outdoor Classics Trade Fair. Already in the 41st year, the IWA is traditionally held in Nuremberg/Germany, showing the latest trends in civilian guns for sport, hunting, recreation and self-defense. Umarex presents itself and its products on a new stand and expects customers and prospects from nearly 100 countries.

UMAREX Sportwaffen GmbH & Co. KG

UMAREX is the world's largest manufacturer of over-the-counter firearm replicas and the largest importer of air guns in Europe. Founded in 1972, the mid-sized company is now run by the second generation of the two founding families. It has approximately 1,000 employees worldwide. The key to the company's success has been the acquisition of licenses to build replicas of well-known weapons, which then can be sold without restrictions. Umarex currently holds licenses for the brands Beretta, Browning, Colt, Heckler & Koch, IWI, Magnum Research, Ruger and Smith & Wesson. In 1993 it acquired the renowned weapons manufacturer Carl Walther. In 2006 it purchased the rights of the sporting guns manufacturer Hämmerli, and in 2010 it took over the sporting guns division of the Röhm company. It has an Austrian subsidiary with headquarters in Kufstein, and it serves the U.S. market through its subsidiaries Umarex USA and Walther Arms, both based in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
