Microsoft's partner programme comprises system integrators and OEMs until independent software- and hardware companies, who are specialized in Microsoft technology.
The different partner levels represent the level of training achieved by a partner company concerning Microsoft-technologies. All partner levels prove that Microsoft Embedded solutions are comprehensively integrated in a partner's corporate industrial solutions.
Ultratronik succeeded in getting the Silver Partner status within Microsoft's Embedded Partner Programme because of a comprehensive evolution and marketing of its own MMI and COM platforms for optimal support of Windows Embedded CE.
All over Germany, only three companies carry such a Silver Partner status. Worldwide, a total of about 20 companies are entitled to call them Silver Partners, another 43 have Gold Partner status in the Windows Embedded segment. As a whole, 546 companies carry the title "Registered Partner".
In the future, Ultratronik will profit from its cooperation with Microsoft through a further optimized support and exclusive information as well as from marketing support. "Microsoft is very excited to have Ultratronik as a Silver Windows Embedded Partner. Our partnership will enable us to leverage our collective innovation and expertise," says Manoj Rami, Senior Marketing Manager at Microsoft.
"This will positively influence our projects with our customers", states Alexander Sorg, Managing Director of Ultratronik. Ultratronik offers Windows Embedded CE Board support packages for Embedded Computing platforms and develops drivers as well as complete, customer-specific Windows applications. In order to support its customers in entering the Embedded Windows CE World, Ultratronik also offers scheduled workshops.
