The SAVANNA-HP is the result of a collaboration between UltraFast Innovations and the Institute for Nanophotonics in Göttingen IFNANO. The SAVANNA allow for compression of laser pulses. The state of the art stretched fiber technology from IFNANO is capable of handling high power laser systems (avg. >100 W / peak 400 GW). The nearly ideal wave guiding reduces losses and allows accumulation of self-phase modulation over an interaction length of up to 8 m. The result is an unmatched compression unit for today's state of the art lasers.
