Femtosecond enhancement cavity CALDERA for multi-kW average laser power

CALDERA is a passive resonator system which enhances laser light within a cavity up to multi-kW circulating average power. State-of-the-art femtosecond cavity optics and technology with a pulsed laser source enable high laser peak power at high pulse repetition rates. These parameters are ideal for the generation of high-order harmonics in a gas jet within the cavity. Thus, the setup allows for the combination of high photon energies in the extreme ultraviolet (XUV) spectral range (30 to 120eV) with high photon flux (up to 1013 photons per second) at multi-MHz pulse repetition rates.

The unique characteristics of CALDERA make it perfectly suited for precision metrology XUV experiments in the time- and frequency-domain such as XUV frequency comb spectroscopy or attosecond photoelectron spectroscopy and can be individually optimized for your application.
