Wasserstoff wird bei der Energiewende eine entscheidende Rolle spielen. Das gilt vor allem für grünen Wasserstoff, der durch den Einsatz von erneuerbaren Energien gewonnen wird. Für die nötige Transparenz sorgen Herkunftsnachweise und Zertifizierungen. In der virtuellen Veranstaltung „Hydrogen happens now“ des Netzwerks Women in Green Hydrogen (WiGH) diskutieren sechs Expertinnen am 17. Juni 2021 über die Anforderungen an ein europaweites Zertifizierungssystem für grünen Wasserstoff. Zur Einführung vermitteln Katharina Sailer von der Deutschen Energie-Agentur (dena) und Paula-Maria Auer-Saupe von TÜV SÜD einen Einblick in den aktuellen Stand bei der Wasserstoff-Zertifizierung und die in der Europäischen Union diskutierten Nachhaltigkeitskriterien.
