TÜV Rheinland, a global leader in independent inspection services, is acquiring the UK company Risktec Solutions Limited. Risktec is based in Warrington in the UK and operates from 15 offices in the UK, the Netherlands, Middle East and North America. Risktec provides risk and safety services and offers technical training and education to highly regulated industrial sectors around the world. Risktec's core industries include the oil and gas industry, nuclear power generation and the railway sector.

With its 230 employees, Risktec most recently generated sales revenues of more than EUR 34 million, with efforts focused particularly on the markets of the UK, North America and the Middle East.
