User-focused, multimedial and interactive
The unique features of the new website include simpler navigation, which is geared toward user requirements. “This was made possible by completely overhauling the navigation, structure and page layout,” explains Thomas Barthel, Head of Marketing and Sales at TÜV Rheinland.
Aside from the clearly structured overview of services, another of the website’s impressive features is its multimedial presence thanks to the enhanced use of videos, images and infographics. “When relaunching the website, we placed particular emphasis on making it dynamic and interactive,” adds TÜV Rheinland’s expert Mr. Barthel. Each of the 65 countries in which TÜV Rheinland is represented will now have its own website. The contents will be available worldwide in a total of 14 different languages. The website has also been optimized for smartphones. Its contents can now be displayed in a user-friendly format on all stationary devices and all common mobile devices.
Cutting-edge design
The new website layout will be accompanied by a completely overhauled design, which ties in with the testing service provider’s relaunched corporate design. The TÜV Rheinland international online marketing team was responsible for conceiving and implementing the new website design. “It marks our first big step toward digital customer communications,” says Thomas Barthel with conviction. Additional new functionalities such as a webshop and a real-time targeting module for the target-group-oriented presentation of the content will soon be implemented by further releases. As part of TÜV Rheinland’s “e-volution” program, the “Connected to the Future” internet platform (or C2F for short) will also launch soon. The website will provide detailed information on issues such as digitalization and innovation in the age of the Internet of Things. For more information, visit www.tuv.com.
