As part of the certification of the system, which is just under 20 meters in height, all relevant safety requirements and loads of the wind turbine were examined. The measurements and data analysis for field measurements were performed by Windtest Grevenbroich, an accredited company. The subject of certification was a twin turbine with a capacity of 10 kW for international wind class IV, which roughly corresponds to German wind class 2 as defined by DIBT, the German Centre of Competence for Construction.
