On hot days especially, a lot of beer is consumed; accordingly, a lot of energy is required for brewing the popular hops brew. On the brewery's large roof surfaces, that energy can soon be generated by a photovoltaic system in a cost-optimized and environmentally compatible way.
With headquarters in Allschwil, TRITEC specializes in solar systems of any size and will accordingly build, on rented roof surfaces of Feldschlösschen Getränke AG in Rheinfelden, a solar power plant which will annually supply energy for more than 400 average households. It will be operated by the operating company Kleinkraftwerk Birseck AG (KKB AG).
On the flat roofs of a combined surface of 23,000 m2, the solar modules are mounted on a statically-optimized substructure. Once in full southern orientation (logistics building Such 2) and once in a north-south orientation (in the flat saddle roof area of the old filling plant Füllerei Ost).
As the general contractor, TRITEC will realize the turn-key solar power plant this year yet - with a construction period of about six weeks.
