TRITEC TRI-Xi – The first inverters with power modules

(PresseBox) (Allschwil / Basel, )
The latest product innovation by TRITEC are inverters with outputs of 1.8, 3.6 and 5.4 kW as well as 10, 12.5 and 15 kW and an integrated mechanical DC-switch. All inverters have an easy-to-use LC display and are suitable for outdoor use.

Power module and separate connection compartment

At the heart of these inverters are power modules: compact power semiconductors, which replace the previously used discrete power semiconductors. The HF-transformer technology separates the DC-side galvanic from the public AC-grid. The inverters have a connection compartment that is separate from the electronics, which offers greatest possible security for the installation as well as the electronics.

Communication and accessories

The electrical measurements of the inverters – e.g. power course, energy yield, current, voltage and frequency – can be gathered, saved and evaluated using dataloggers. All inverters are equipped with a RS485-interface and are compatible to several datalogger manufacturers. The TRITEC TRI-LOGG has been further developed to perfectly match with the TRI-Xi inverters.

High output due to effective MPP trackers and high efficiency

Three individual MPP controllers always ensure an optimal output of the system, irrespective of the differences in size or the location of the PV modules. The Viennese Arsenal Research Institute, measuring an efficiency of 99.9 % of the MPP controller, verified the accuracy of the MPP controllers.

TRITEC TRI-Xi 1.8, 3.6 and 5.4 – Single-phased inverters optimised for the use of solar modules with 5" and 6" cells

The inverters optionally have two input voltage ranges: the high voltage range (HV) is suitable for modules with 5" cells; the medium range (MV) is ideal for 6" cells. These two special voltage ranges prevent output losses through optimal adjustment of the string voltages to the operating area of the inverters.

TRITEC TRI-Xi 10.0, 12.5 and 15.0 – Three-phase grid connection and highest effectiveness

A perfectly symmetrical three-phase power supply requires nothing more than an inverter. A three-phase inverter ensures three-phase output at all times as well as compliance with the rules for grid connection irrespective of string fluctuations on the input side. With an effectiveness of 98 %, this inverter positions itself at the top of the three-phase devices on the market.
