Trenz Electronic, announces the availability of its TE0600 series, a family of FPGA-based industrial micromodules for harsh environments and pervasive deployment.

TE00600 integrate a leading-edge Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA, a gigabit Ethernet physical transceiver, 256 MByte DDR SDRAM (16-bit wide), 8 MByte Flash memory for configuration and operation, and powerful switch-mode power supplies for all on-board voltages. A large number of configurable I/Os are provided via standard board-to-board hermaphroditic stacking strips. All this on a tiny footprint, smaller than half a credit card, at the most competitive price. Customized versions, as well as modules with industrial-grade components are available upon request.

Developed as a powerful OEM modules, combined with their carrier boards they are perfeclty suitable for educational and research activities. Software for SPI Flash programming over Ethernet, as well as reference designs for high-speed data transfer over Ethernet are included.
