Trelleborg shows unrivalled offset blanket solutions at All In Print China
Philip Huang, Sales and Marketing Director for printing solutions in China, says: “Our manufacturing facility in Shanghai operates to exactly the same high standards as other Trelleborg offset printing blanket production sites around the world and in addition to supplying the Chinese market, we also export blankets to Europe and America. We have ISO 14000 and Trelleborg is continually investing in the Shanghai facility to keep us at the forefront of environmental protection. In fact, ours is the first offset blanket manufacturing facility in China to fully implement a solvent recovery system.
“We import certain specialist products from Trelleborg sites in Italy and the U.S., including some blankets for the newspaper and packaging sectors. Trelleborg’s investment at the Shanghai facility has included sophisticated equipment that enables us to be the most reliable and accurate converter in China. We also have the ability to develop and customize solutions to meet individual requirements.
“With manufacturing facilities in a number of countries and a large R&D facility in Italy, we can combine the benefits of a global approach with local reach. This provides tremendous flexibility and allows us to be versatile in our solutions to customers in China. Significant investment in the R&D department and the high degree of skill of technicians lets Trelleborg maintain its position in the industry as a pioneer in this field. Some of the products made at the facility in Shanghai have been designed and developed in Italy to exactly match the needs of the Chinese market.”
Vulcan, Rollin and Printec brands are extremely well established in the Chinese printing industry and Trelleborg is amongst the leading offset blanket suppliers in every sector. The manufacturer has long recognized the need to develop blankets for particular situations and types of work. This is why it now has an unrivalled range of solutions, meeting the demands of printers in the commercial, packaging and newspaper sectors, plus specialist fields such as security and business forms.
Trelleborg’s Axcyl sleeves, produced at the group’s French production site, are regarded as amongst the best in the world. These sleeves are specifically designed to have the best dimensional stability, are fully sealed and protected to extend life span, and have very low weight.
Huang adds: “Trelleborg has a very good network of experienced dealers throughout China and so can provide printers with a first class service wherever they are. Prior to All In Print China, we will launch a new website specifically aimed at the Chinese market and this will include digital tools dedicated to Chinese printers. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Trelleborg stand at the show and discussing with them how we can help to make their business more profitable.”
A full team from Trelleborg will be on the stand during the show and visitors from throughout Asia Pacific will be able to speak to a representative for their specific area. For further information on Trelleborg’s printing solutions go to http://www.trelleborg.com/printing.
