CO2-Schock in Brüssel!

Entweder Sie fahren elektrisch oder gar nicht!

Das EU-Gericht hat neu CO2-Richtlinien verhängt. Nach der UN-Klimakonferenz haben sich die Staaten in Brüssel zusammengesetzt und auf  schärfere CO2-Grenzwerte geeinigt. Es wird ausschließlich den Straßenverkehr treffen. Bis 2030 sollen Neuwagen 37,5% weniger Kohlendioxide ausstoßen! Das wird eine große Herausforderung für die 13 europäische Autohersteller. Zur Zeit erfüllt kein Fahrzeug (außer Hybrid und Elektro) diese Anforderungen und steht sogar weit davon die Ziele für 2021 zu erfüllen! Zur Zeit wären nur Elektroautos und Plug-In-Hybride 2030 zugelassen.

Emissionen sollen sinken und die Autobauer müssen mitziehen

Die Vorgabe sollen der EU helfen, die Emissionswerte zu reduzieren. Dies wird jedoch unmöglich sein, wenn Unternehmen mit der derzeitigen Verkaufsstrategie weitermachen. Die Autohersteller müssen mehr Fahrzeuge verkaufen, die Emissionsfrei sind. Für neue Antriebe werden wohlwollend auch Produktionen umgebaut werden müssen. Es ist also abzuwarten ob diese Entscheidung neue Chancen für die europäische Branche bringen oder doch mehr Probleme, wie z.B. Jobverluste oder Preisanstieg bei Autos, verursachen wird.

Ziele für 2021 sind noch weit entfernt

Bis 2021 sollen Neuwagen nicht mehr als 95 Gramm Kohlendioxid ausstoßen. Der Durchschnitt lag zuletzt, in der EU, bei 118,5 was die Entfernung von der Einhaltung der Emissionswerte für 2021 zeigt. Diese Werte sind alleine in Deutschland um 7% höher als der Durchschnitt in der EU. Es werden zwar mehr Fahrzeuge mit Alternativ-Antrieben gekauft (von 2 auf 3,4 Prozent), jedoch ist der CO2-Ausstoß der Neuwagen im Jahr 2017 Angestiegen. Das liegt nicht zuletzt daran, dass die Deutschen große Freude am Kauf von SUVs und Geländewagen gefunden haben.
