The first matt-coated carbon wheels for Ducati Panigale V4 by thyssenkrupp Carbon Components

Following the early start of sales of its braided carbon wheels for Ducati Panigale V4 at the beginning of April 2021, the German carbon wheel manufacturer is announcing an unprecedented piece of news: the first mattcoated carbon wheels by thyssenkrupp Carbon Components. In the first instance this option is available for the Ducati’s flagship model, the Panigale V4.

The worldwide road-legal carbon wheels for the Panigale V4, V4 S and V4 R have been available since the beginning of April 2021 and Ducatisti can now choose between the classic gloss finish and a trendy matt finish. The latter is optionally available via the manufacturer’s website or the exclusive dealer network for a surcharge of 289 Euro (incl. 19% VAT). Even with a matt finish, the unique braided carbon wheels are immediately recognizable and thus fit perfectly with the other carbon attachments on the Panigale V4. The matt design option will be extended to the full portfolio of braided thyssenkrupp carbon wheels in the coming weeks.

CEO Dr Jens Werner: ‘I am confident that with the addition of a matt finish for our ultra-light carbon wheels, we will be able to meet our customers' wishes even more adequately. These braided wheels are already unique thanks to their worldwide road approval, but the matt finish allows even more room for customization. We look forward to seeing the matt thyssenkrupp carbon wheels on a large number of Ducati Panigale V4s in the 2021 season.’
