ÖPNV App wird wichtigster Vertriebsweg

Laut aktueller ÖPNV Marktstudie der TAF mobile GmbH ist für den Ticketverkauf die ÖPNV App der wichtigste Vertriebsweg neben dem Ticket-Automaten. Die Smartphone- und Online-Nutzung wird in den nächsten 5 Jahren weiterhin rasant zunehmen. 83 Prozent der Fahrgäste, die bislang noch kein mobiles Ticket erworben haben, können sich künftig vorstellen, Tickets über eine ÖPNV App zu kaufen – rund ein Fünftel nutzt diese Möglichkeit bereits.

Das Marktforschungsinstitut Statista, hatte im Auftrag des Softwareexperten, der TAF mobile GmbH, eine ÖPNV Marktforschungsstudie unter Fahrgästen und Verkehrsunternehmen im November 2018 online durchgeführt. In Zusammenarbeit wurden zwei Fragebögen entwickelt und an über 1.000 Fahrgäste und 450 Entscheider aus deutschen Verkehrsunternehmen versandt.
