TGW Logistics Group Cooperates with Schönenberger

The TGW Logistics Group GmbH has concluded an exclusive cooperation agreement with Schönenberger Systeme GmbH. With this step, TGW complements the range of solutions as systems integrator by the field of hanging garment conveyor equipment, especially for customers in the apparel industry.

TGW Logistics Group GmbH, one of the leading systems integrators for automated material handling systems headquartered in Wels, Austria, is extending its range of solutions. Through an exclusive cooperation agreement with Schönenberger Systeme GmbH based in Landsberg am Lech, Germany, TGW wins a strong partner for the development and implementation of material handling equipment for hanging garment. "The well-proven hanging garment conveyor equipment by Schönenberger is an important technological supplement to TGW's material handling and storage systems", says Georg Kirchmayr, Managing Director of TGW Logistics Group GmbH. "This enables us to offer our customers in the apparel and fashion industry a comprehensive range of solutions, including the handling of flats as well as hanging garment."

Apart from using existing equipment, the two companies also agreed to develop and market new systems and solutions together. "This cooperation agreement is very extensive and gives our customers the certainty that the very experienced teams from both companies will jointly concentrate their expertise on the development of optimised material handling systems", adds Kirchmayr. And that expertise will be used worldwide in future customer projects of TGW and Schönenberger.
