In order to grow the segment of efficient façade cleaning further, the company decided to invest in the semi-automatic cleaning systems hyCLEANER® red.

The hyCLEANER® cleaning technology enables fast, safe and efficient cleaning and convinces with its high performance and optimal cleaning results. Operation and handling is pretty simple: Once the brush system is attached to the basket of an access platform, cleaning can be started.  The operator of the access platform moves the basket to the top of the building. While lifting the basket, the 1.6 m wide cleaning brush is not yet in contact with the façade. When arriving at the building top, the water supply is turned on. The cleaning brush, which is powered by high-pressure-water (120-160 bar), starts turning immediately. The brush speed is depending on the water quantity and can be adjusted from 9 to 12 litres per minute. Cleaning is done from top to bottom in order to prevent dirt water to run over the cleaned surfaces. For heavily soiled façades, it is also possible to spray water onto the façade while moving the hyCLEANER® to the building top, in order to pre-soak stubborn dirt. For areas, that are difficult to access with the hyCLEANER® (such as crooked corners, lightning installations etc.), it is possible to connect a spray-lance in the basket, so that the operator can clean these areas manually. When operating the hyCLEANER®, only water is needed – adding chemicals or other cleaning agents is not necessary - which makes sense not only from the environmental side of view, but also for economic reasons, as water mixed with chemicals would require collection and costly disposal. The hyCLEANER® system can be operated with any type of water; also osmosis-water can be used, to guarantee that the surface dries without leaving streaks. The whole hyCLEANER® concept is service-friendly and requires only low maintenance. The big white wheels, which are located to the left and right of the cleaning brush, can be adjusted to three different positions, which allows to determine the “bristle length”. Depending on the surface structure, it is therefore possible to clean smooth glass surfaces but also corrugated claddings as even grooves of up to 40 mm can be cleaned easily. It is only the bristle tips that get in contact with the façade, so that there is only low abrasion. The brush system is spring-mounted which allows the brush to very flexible and compensate movements of up to one meter. A uniform and good cleaning result is achieved.

Manufacturer of the hyCLEANER® cleaning systems is the Germany company TG hyLIFT GmbH. They offer different cleaning solutions for façade and roof cleaning applications as well as for photovoltaic and solar panels. Besides their standard range of products, they also produce special cleaning solutions, which are perfectly adapted the local conditions of the job site.
